Phi mu reputation and rank?
by: PnmI’m a legacy of phi mu but my mom was a phi mu in a different college so is my sister. I was looking into UArk. I notice there were a lot hate on phi mu and why? what is the ranking? Also what my chance getting accepted in the house.

We shouldn’t spread false info on here haha. I know numerous legacies in pc 20. With the amount of work that goes into recruitment, this could never happen.

hey!! I makes me sad to see all the hate towards phi mu on here! I am the first member of my fam to rush and I was so nervous about it. During recruitment, I felt so welcomed by phi mu and I felt like I could completely be myself! Since joining, I’ve met some of the sweetest, most God-loving girls ever! Our chapter has so many different girls, just like every other sorority on campus! Please don’t base your choices off of “rank” or made-up stories! Just keep an open mind during recruitment and follow your heart! :)

the only reason people "hate" on phi mu is because of the amount of genuinely mean girls that are in phi mu. no one means that every single phi mu is like that, but a vast majority of y'all are

Truth is they take rep risk that the top houses cut. They also take the mean girls that no one in high school liked. Their attitude in high school came back to haunt them during recruitment. I agree with the previous poster though that this does not mean every girl is like that. They just have way more than their share and use to be known for treating their pledges like crap. I think with the pandemic though that’s not been a thing. I think you can have a great time no matter what house you pledge and ranks don’t mean a thing except for on here. You don’t even wear your letters to frat parties because it’s not allowed.

Tired of the same comments about Phi Mu😴 😴😴😴😴 The truth is all houses have great girls!!! You will always, in every house, come across girls who have had good and bad reputations. They have a beautiful house on campus and and they will welcome you with open arms since you are a legacy!! Unlike some other exclusive houses that will probably cut you night one. You will see during recruitment how these so called “top houses” make you feel. If your not from Little Rock your chances of getting in are slim anyway! Keep an open mind. ❤️❤️❤️

I understand your frustration and am guessing your a phi mu that is a great girl. Yes all houses have a few questionable girls but the even close to the amount phi mu has. I am in a top house and we literally had a “phi mu” pile. This was for girls that had very bad reputations back home from either simply being B to sleeping with friends boyfriends, making obsence videos and doing other things our house didn’t want to be associated with. All the girls that I can remember from my group during recruitment that was placed in that pile ended up pledging phi mu. And you didn’t get put in that pile if only one girl said something. It would had to have been multiple girls.

Even as a pnm and recruiters I knew the reputation of phi mu and made a phi mu pile from girls I knew from high school who were mean and still have that mean girl vibe. All of them were phi mu

^^ That’s the problem! NOT all girls are bad in Phi Mu. No, I’m not a Phi Mu I’m actually in a top house. Some of my best friends from high school actually wanted to be a Phi Mu and that’s what they chose during recruitment.

You will have a good shot at getting a bid. They get a lot of hate for having mean girls but Ofcourse that doesn’t mean every girl is mean. You will find girls similar to you in every house:)
