Why are bottom houses at the bottom

What makes certain houses bottom houses here? They seem like good ones?

If you’re ranking, then someone has to be at the bottom, but that doesn’t mean they are bad. Truth is every single house here has beautiful, smart, quality girls. Our lower houses are better than top houses at other schools.

The word bottom should be replaced with “newer” since the new houses have to fight their way up the ranks

They are labeled as “bottom” because the top tiered ones constantly make fun of them because that’s “all they could get.”

Honestly would expect more from those who supposedly had more connections, as etiquette would be implied.
Newer chapters, think some unity would go a long way... even if houses are competitive- being supportive would enhance each house.
