advice?
by: woo pigI am going to uark next year because i got a really good scholarship and just love the school in general. I am out of state from California but am rly nervous about rushing because i obviously dont know anybody. Any tips on getting the house of my dreams and my chances?

Depends on what is the house of your dreams? And if you don’t know anyone then keep in mind the houses all rank differently with totally different type of girls depending on the school. If your looking for kappa, chi o and prob pi phi if you do not know a soul then honestly chances are maybe one percent. Zeta may be attainable if you impress someone during recruitment but they in general have a type ( unless your friends with someone) and that type is outgoing, pretty with more than their share of blonds. Tri delt and KD will put a lot of importance your resume. Grades leadership ect.... adpi and phi mu has a ton of fun cute girls and is attainable without connections. Axo aopi and dg is attainable as long as you show interest and don’t have horrible grades. All great houses.

i was the same way coming from out of state! dont go in with a desired house becuase all of them are great and don’t listen to what anyone tells u!! make sure to keep up your grades and get letters of rec and follow girls in the sororities to put your name out there! good luck

^ that is a good overview of the houses. I wouldn’t write off a top house like Hi did but you do need to make yourself known somehow by maybe following girls on insta or trying to find someone in your hometown that has a link to a girl in the chapters your looking at.
