Question about rerushing
by: Question 123I ended up dropping my sorority this year as a freshman, I just felt it really wasn't the right house for me. I want to re-rush next year but am worried everyone would drop me right away since I'd be a sophomore and have already dropped before. Do I still stand a good chance of getting a house next year or is it pretty unlikely?

I got cut by 7 houses so I only had 4 houses in philanthropy round. As a freshman why don’t you socialize other Greeks girls so u can get a feel and vibe. Please don’t pick a house because of rank, the top houses have a tendency to be highschool 2.0 but if that what you want, go for it. Why you drop?

Some houses do not take sophomores period. I went through as a sophomore last year. I was told zeta pi phi and chi o would drop me immediately and they did. I did have connections in zeta. I am in a mid tier house and happy!! So my advice is to make connections but don’t waste your time on top houses because you will be cut.

You’ll need to meet a lot of girls if you really want to have a chance in a certain house. (Minus top houses, that ship has sailed) Like a lot! 1 or 2 girls pulling for you isn’t going to help.

Also you probably gonna get cut by the house you drop because there no point keeping a girl that accept a bid and dropped. Also during rush, I would avoid the real reason why you drop your house because all 11 houses are great and probably shows that you weren’t open minded.
