Really feel like I don’t fit in
by: :( lost and confusedI don’t know what to do... I have tried to fit in and meet people but no one will take time to get to know me. Is there any exec person that I could talk to that could help me with this? :( I really loved this sorority at first but now I don’t because I have been so excluded by everyone

It can take going thru recruitment as a member on the other side to bond with a group— and that is during normal times.
Reach out to your new member educator- and in the mean time— nothing says you can’t have other Greek friends or non Greek friends! Hang w who you want and don’t over think things right now. This is such a weird semester. It will get better.

I agree. In normal times it often takes until second semester. Only chi o ( no shade, great sorority just repeating what I have heard from more than one person) have I heard people just not being able to find to their group because it’s very cliquey. I would reach out to new member coordinator as well. Just don’t give up. I know it can be so difficult and sad. Meanwhile spend time with other people until you find your sorority friends.
