Next sorority should be Theta
by: new houseI know they might not be the best at other SEC schools but think about the amazing Theta legacies from Texas that go here. Smu has one of the best Theta chapters in the nation, It's certainly in the top 3 at UT and TTU, and upper-middle at Baylor. I know a lot of girls who ended up in top houses that are Theta legacies. I think if they come back to Uark they won't have as much trouble as they've had at Bama and ole miss. Theta really seems like the next logical choice.

Arkansas can't support or fill the new big sorority and fraternity houses without Texans.

KAT was treated badly at Arkansas. They have had many chances to recolonize, every time we added a new group. They are not interested.

Ok I would be so curious to get the actual truth behind the “theta was treated badly” excuse that people have been saying for years. Of course the chapters active members at the time will always have bad blood. But from the organizational standpoint, how bad could it have really been?
Greek life was totally different in 1989. The National Panhellenic Conference, college Greek life offices, heck even the way recruitment quotas/bid matching and all that stuff have been completely reformed in the last 30 years. A colonization in the next few years would yield very different results.

Without sharing details with someone who does not need to know them, I will say that it was years of treatment that was so bad that they haven't even put their name in the pot once all these years. Why spend millions on a house if you don't know if you can succeed?
And why did someone say that we need another sorority because amazing girls are cut? The cut numbers have nothing to do with the number of PNMs.

That's pretty much it except for Tamu and Baylor. At those school its more like Pi Phi, Kappa, and Zeta

ABSOLUTELY. if we are having PCs with 140+ girls and AMAZING girls being released from recruitment, we absolutely need more houses. Alabama only has 500 more girls that rush but they have 16 houses.

AGD is coming. They have made plans and have land for their house already. They would have been on campus right now but the pandemic. Let’s not talk about Theta- they aren’t here and currently do not plan to be here.
AGD will start strong bc there are so many talented, smart and committed women on campus. Our Razorback women are tops.
Let’s be ready to welcome AGD and their colonizing class. We want them to be successful. ❤️
