Thoughts on the PC 2020 Sig Eps? I have heard mixed things and thought some of them were not the best picks...

Sig Ep nationally has patterned themselves sort of like the Boy Scouts. They are a completely dry house, they have no pledging, and membership is a 4 year ‘process’ where you achieve different levels of development as you go along, sort of like accumulating merit badges. Sig Ep is a good national though.

Surprisingly they still have a lot of really good chapters nation wide...but they really are moving toward being a "post-fraternity" social club in terms of their national office.

They want a bunch of large...but non-partying/non-hazing... chapters that are into service and pay dues.

That was a really good description of where Sig Ep is going. Greek life admins like them because they’re more like a sorority than a traditional fraternity. Most alpha males want to be in a real fraternity.
