Tier changes for 2020

I think after this past year with all houses getting great girls we should change the tiers. I hate reading on here about lower houses. Have you met an AOPI? If so, then you will see they should not be considered lower tier. ( no not an AOPI)
Upper top
Chi o / kappa
Top
Zeta/ pi phi / tri delt
Upper mid
KD/ ADPI/PHI MU
Mid
AXO/ AOPI/DG
As far as how it is seen on campus I think AXO is favored over Phi Mu and both Zeta and Pi Phi are favored over chi o. I am not in a top house so not sure if chi o actually lost girls to those houses this year or not.

With the exception of Kappa, I think these are the top houses because of tradition and being on campus consistently since the 1890s - 1920s
Mid
Everyone else is really on the same level. It’s just what vibe you are going for.
Each do the best at different things.
For example:
Best Banners-AOII & Phi Mu
Prettiest House-DG
Best Bid Day Theme - AXO
etc....everyone add to this

Excuse my dyslexic mistake but it does show the top five have all been on campus since 1925 or before. The next would be ADPi that was established on UARK in 1957. I think the rankings are just perceptions of who was a top house when your mom, grandmother, or great-grandmother went here! Times are changing! “Phi Pi” really doesn’t offer anything more to its member than any other sorority on campus. In fact, other then Rush, you really don’t see them.

I think there is a top four then a middle then maybe a bottom two. The top four lose to each and its a matter of preference. Not everyone that has say chi o and zeta on pref will choose chi o. Not everyone that has kappa and pi phi on pref will choose kappa. So I think tiers are better than actual rankings. Same goes for the middle. Tri delt and adpi on pref?? Just a matter of preference. Aopi and dg seem to be lower tier for now but both have lots of great girls especially this past year. I would have put Tri delt in “ top five” per the past but this year they did need to give out snap bids and didn’t do quite as well as previous years.

@reality you need to actually look around at the present and stop basing your opinions on the past. Things have changed.

Agree times are changing. The system still favors the top houses though. The top four ( maybe five) cut so deep the first night that alone makes them more desirable. It’s just human nature to want to keep a house that most of the girls in your group was cut from. That’s why it’s so difficult to break into that group if your in a middle house.

I feel like chi o is for sure top four or five but is it still top two? So many of the girls I knew didn’t rank them that way during recruitment. Kappa zeta and pi phi seemed more desired. No shade just wondering if they still did that well overall this year

Ranking/tiers don’t matter.
Too many pnms that have top qualities in all houses here. That is why you shouldn’t listen to these rankings.

It seems like having just gone through recruitment there is a top five that everyone tries to get in than all the rest.
