Chi O is outspoken about their perception of themselves as “top tier”. Chi O is the only house I’ve met girls from that would’ve changed universities if they weren’t Chi O’s. It’s the only sorority I’ve heard call going to a fraternity function “social suicide”. They, like most other top houses, dirty rush and know who they want in their PC before they meet the PNMs. It’s why they cut so hard the first round. All “top” houses are guilty of things like this. They break the rules because they have the money to pay the fines and they don’t care. There are no excuses for the things some of these chapters have done to girls. Dirty rushing is sickening, but who is surprised.
HOWEVER, it’s up to every single new PC to change the way your chapter operates. Alum plays a big part but you have to fight if you want to do and be better. I have met wonderful girls in all the “top” houses. They definitely do no deserve the reputation that you hear on GR, but some of the girls do. If you are a PNM and want to still pledge Chi O or a top house but are freaked out by the bad things you see on this site, remember them and change them.

Couldn’t agree more! Scrutinizing a banner of all things? Give me a break. I’m not even a Chi O and I find this post ridiculous.

You say that because you’re probably a Chi Omega. On multiple occasions Chi O is known to not show up/out for the lower tier sorority events. They’re stuck up and full of themselves. Open your eyes.
