About Bid Day 2020

I just want the PNMs to know, we can’t hug or touch you guys on Bid Day. It’s against the Greek Life rules and anyone who actively chooses to break those rules is putting the health of you and every person you come into contact with at risk. Do not misunderstand. We want to hug you, do cartwheels and cute poses with you, and everything else. We do NOT want to get you sick though!! If any chapters are seen posting pictures of large groups of girls all close together and hugging that barely know each other we WILL get in trouble. Remember this on Bid Day please!! Bid Day is going to be a test by Greek Life to see if we can follow the rules enough to have things like functions and we all want to pass.
Greek Life is literally hiring cops to make sure we only have certain numbers of people on the lawn at a time. Chapters are telling members that not all of them can come to Bid Day, which is breaking hearts but we know it’s for the good of everyone. Greek Life is taking a huge risk for you guys to have an in person Bid Day, so please be responsible. I wish you all the best luck with your houses and Pref. Remember to stay safe and speak out if you see someone not complying. Don’t let other people ruin the year for everyone else. Pan love<3

I don’t speak your lingo. I don’t know what a pick up girl is. Still do not understand why you cannot do this virtually other than the fact you are refusing to.

Actually, you don't all gather in person. What you do instead is work to create a shift system that allows PNMs to come to their house with their pick-up girl. There will not be 400+ people on every lawn. The PNMs don't get to go inside the houses to protect the girls living inside. Girls come to see the PNMs and house for their "shift" and go home after. It's not a free-for-all with 1500+ people and all of the parents and alum showing up like they do in prior years.
