cuts before pref

are the cuts before pref really bad? like as bad as it has been? i told my favorite houses i love them and see myself there. do i have a good shot at seeing them on my list for pref if they know i like it there? one is a top and one is a middle.

Hey girl. So difficult to know. Houses do make cuts tonight. I only know of my house which is considered top tier ( only means anything during recruitment!!) We cut a little over a thousand first round, then a little over a hundred and after this round just under 200. Close to 200 girls will get an invite to pref. First night cuts are the biggest and most shocking while cuts before pref are the most disappointing. Mid tier houses are going to have around 200 on their pref list as well. Good luck to you!

I don't mean to scare you but i told my favorite house how much i loved them and could see myself there and it seemed like they reciprocated the feelings. But then i saw my parties for pref and actually cried. Sooo i wouldnt get my hopes up if i were you

Same! I'm worried I'll be disappointed but I keep thinking if I've made it this far it's for a reason. Those houses have to take someone, so why not me?
