Truth about COB please!
by: PNMAlright, so I’m just wondering, how soon after bid day do houses do COB? How likely is it to join a sorority through COB? Which sororities usually do it?

@ Why. Maybe she was cut because they didn’t get to know her. It’s almost impossible this year. Trying to make informed decisions based on a zoom meeting. Have some compassion. Many girls get cut from a house and then make a connection with members. If no COB. There is always the possibility of next year

In that case I would take some time to learn more about the chapters that impressed you, maybe meet some girls during this fall semester, re-group and try to COB in the Spring. There’s a house here for everyone.
I firmly believe that. Sometimes it really is a numbers game. Don’t let this experience define you because it doesn’t!!

Curious if chi o will do cob? Not even throwing shade but actually wonder. They were given their usual number of girls to cut by Panhellenic which Ofcourse makes them “ exclusive”. If phi mu were given that same number to cut then technically they would be “ exclusive”. It could backfire this year with girls looking elsewhere due to all the issues they are having. Only the girls living in house signed up to do recruitment where other top houses have a large number of girls that signed up to work and help their chapter get a great pledge class. I guess chi o thinks they don’t need to try that hard??

Very few. And to get one of those bids you would have atleast been to their sisterhood round. In other words someone cut the first night from KD or whoever won’t be getting a cob. The houses will hear from nationals how many girls they want them to take ( after all this is a buisness and more girls mean more money for that chapter) and if they have 90 but their nationals would like them to have 95 they may extend five cob’s.
