Oh please don’t take it personally. Sadly you only had the opportunity to talk to 2 girls out of 300ish. Those girls may have genuinely loved you and are just as upset to not see you coming back. It’s a crazy numbers game and it stinks for all of us! All you need is one house though so when you attend your next party, let your personality shine and open your heart up to this house. Don’t drop stick out and try it for a couple of months if you hate it still by October then it’s completely fine to drop and find something else for you!! You should definitely try it out you may change your perception!!

Not all chapters spring rush. Those that do sometimes only take 1-5 girls. Spring rush is tough. You will get to have longer convos this round, and might just like it. Give it a try.

I agree with Advice! I think you should stick it out and see where the rest of fall recruitment will take you. You’ve already paid for everything so it can’t hurt to see what happens. If you don’t get a bid (which really is unlikely) you can definitely try COB, but again only a few houses do it and you will need to make some friends and connections in those houses in order to be considered for a COB bid. I’m sorry this happened but trust the process and it’ll all work out!

Spring rush is not tough. I had a friend do cob and it’s more relaxed. You just don’t have that many chapters that do it. I think zeta was the only one that took like 1-5 girls. Phi mu, axo, adpi, and dg took more.

There are up to 2 more opportunities to talk to girls in that chapter, sisterhood and pref. Open your heart and give it an honest chance. You may just click with the girls you talk to next. Good luck!!!

spring rush is tough because it's a game of connections really. I was a spring rush and over 50 girls were going for less than 10 spots. luckily, I got one. I went through formal recruitment and didn't have a great time, so spring is always an option, but it's hard to get the spring invite to begin with and have enough people in that chapter to want to bring you in.
