Cuts After First Day

I heard Kappa cut the most first day... I got cut. Just curious. Is this true?

The most desirable houses have to cut the most girls early. That way, they don’t string people along if they don’t have a chance.

I didn’t get cut and I was so surprised especially since I only had one letter of rec and no connections

Chi o and zeta cut me. I still have kappa and also don’t have a connection. Some mid houses cut me as well. I am pretty confused and not going to lie a little bummed. I did have a connection in zeta and was so shocked and sad they didn’t invite me back. Is it bad to ask after recruitment why I was cut??

It depends on who your connection is in zeta. Unless she is pretty close with someone on the recruitment team there is a good chance she won’t know. That happened to me last year and I have never been brave enough to flat out ask although sometimes I still wonder why!

Kappa and pi phi are the only house who cut 1100 girls. They’re just the most selective. Chi o is alum. Sorry but it’s the truth.
