Very confused by my cuts
by: PnmSo I am confused because I only got 4 houses left for Philanthropy Round. I did everything I was supposed to do... I had recs, high GPA / SAT, tons of leadership / involvement, clean social media... Only thing was that I don’t know anybody here. What did I do wrong? It’s a mix of bottom and middle houses

Good luck it will all work out! When I rushed I had a 4.0 GPA, hundreds of volunteer hours, club membership and leadership, and multiple recs to every house. My problem? No connections! It really does come down to that. It doesn’t mean the house doesn’t like you, it just means that the actives in that house have bffs and sisters coming here that got ranked above you simply because of having a personal connection. I was left with 5 on Phil day, 1 top and 4 bottom. I was desperate to keep that top house but in the end it still didn’t work out! I’m in a “bottom” house now and I absolutely love it!!! Every house here is amazing, and I promise ranks don’t matter as much in real life as they do on this website!
