How selective are these houses
by: PnmCan someone rank the houses in order from most selective to lease
#2by: well
Kappa is probably the most. Most of the time people who get in are either a legacy, have an in-house sister, or are close with someone in kappa.
Chi O is as well. Never met a Chi O here who isn’t a legacy. A lot of legacies do get cut as well since there are a lot of Chi O legacies.

Pi Phi, Tri Delt, Kappa, Zeta, and Chi O traditionally have the highest return rates and therefore are more selective. Grades will be the biggest determinator of cuts in the first round. In the next rounds the houses will get more into who is friends with who, who is more likely to go to a certain house due to those friendships, leadership, personality, reputation, legacy, etc.

The ranks of the houses posted all over this site is pretty much the order of who gets to be the most selective. When you’re ranked 1/ considered a top house and many pnms want you then you get to be more selective w who you choose. The top houses get to make major cuts after open house like averaging 800 or so, so other houses have a chance... and pnms get to narrow their choices easier if they don’t make that cut. Also top houses don’t have to take as many girls as houses ranked lower so that every house has a chance to get a great group of girls!
#6by: Yep.....
Kappa/Chi O - most selective
Pi Phi/Zeta/Tri Delt - very selective
Past that they are all pretty equal their level of selectivity and have their own “vibe” that they gravitate toward. I would guess that KD is the the most selective of the remaining six because they are so grades-focused.
