kappa- not technically a legacy, but my aunt and cousin are kappas (not arkansas), really nice house and nice girls
tri delta- one of my Younglife leaders is a UT tri delta, really nice house, good grades, nice girls
pi phi- same as tri delta, but I don’t like their house as much
zeta- know a girl from hs in this house and she’s really nice!
adpi, kd- really nice houses, sweet girls, on the same level for me
phi mu- know a nice girl from high school here, but i don’t want to be associated with their bad rep
chi o- bad rep, not a legacy, they’re only “top” because they’re the founding chapter. only legacies want chi o. the only thing redeeming is i love make a wish and have raised money for them in the past
dg/aoii- eh just not my type of girls.

I’m very curious to know what was meant by the “just not my type of girls” statement in regards to dg and aopi. Not a dg or aopi but both of these houses have very sweet and amazing girls! They may be ranked lower but that under no circumstance means they are a bad house!! Our lowest houses are better than other schools tops!!! There are those who enjoy coming to this site to bash other houses but as a whole, we support each other! Pan love!

oh no i’m not trying to be rude at all and i’m so sorry if it came off that way!! For me they’re just flying under the radar, that’s all! and i don’t know any girls in those houses & i’m not as interested in their philanthropy as i am with pi phi and tri delt! As I am both dyslexic and have had a lot of health problems as a child, i really connect with those personally.

My advice is to go in without all the preconceived ideas you’ve expressed. Show respect to each house and give them an honest chance. You’ll be surprised the houses that you’ll actually end up loving if you open your heart and mind. Just because you don’t know anyone in the house or much about them, don’t allow that to stop you from opening yourself up. Also, just because this site talks about the “mean girl” houses, form your own opinion on those as well. You will have a much more enjoyable (and successful) experience if you approach it with a clean slate.

While there is some good information found here, it’s few and far between. This site is toxic for pnms. Like I said, keep an open heart/mind and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy your last weeks of summer!!

all of this is based off of what i’ve read on here, and i have NO idea if these things are true. i am so sorry that i was putting down people. personally, my intention for coming on this website was to see what sorority would be a good fit for me. it really clouded my judgement and has made me really closed minded. i just need to trust God and the process.

You gave WAY too much info and way too much detail... but it was enough to find out who you are. This site is toxic, But you seem like a sweet girl who made a mistake. Watch your wording please. You aren’t better than ANY of the houses. All houses on this campus is great. Thank you! I will keep this info to myself, I just hope you change your perspective.

thank you again for being so kind! I really did not mean what I said to hurt anyone and I now know how ignorant my wording was. I am a nice person, everyone i know in greek life here can vouch for my character. luckily i haven’t put a lot of the info i gave out on my resume, but if y’all find out who i am, i know i’ll still end up where i belong.

Every sorority at every college is different. Just because you know some at a different college does not mean they are they same here AT ALL. This is ignorant and you will have a rude awakening during recruitment
