How do we feel about the changes for rush 2020

I know it sucks, but houses would still make cuts for grades & connections if open house was in person.

I know it seems unfair to cut pnm’s before even talking to them. Prior to this year the cuts were already made before talking to you as well. It’s simply because the first round is sooo long with the girls going to all the houses that there is no way we can discuss 1500 girls in one or two nights. Our days already end past midnight and begin early. Plus we would all hear “ she is sooo sweet” because everyone is. All pnm’s I talked to last year were very sweet. Trust me this year is by far the easiest and probably fairest. Y’all get a chance to dm us and visa versa which is more than a 15 min loud party on night one.

Honestly I think it would be nice to not have to do open party. It sucked to go to all those houses and then get cut anyway the next day, when they knew ahead of time who was getting cut. When first rounds are based almost entirely off of legacy, GPA, and resume (and this year the video and essay), I just don’t see a point in building PNMs hopes up for houses that have already cut them before they walk through the door

seems a little unfair that you can be cut before even talking to them, but I guess we can talk to actives before rush this year.
