how to get kappa without any connections?
by: help lolI’ve always dreamed of going kappa. I love their philanthropy, values, history etc. How do i get in without knowing anyone in the chapter (I know some at other schools)

Personally, i believe you should rush a house because you feel welcome, loved, and are similar to the girls that will be in your pc. I dont understand how you can dream of being a kappa and know no one in the house. What if you hate the girls? What if you hate the philanthropy events? I would walk into rush with an open mind, and look for the house that YOU fit into

You love their philanthropy? Reading is fundamental. Ok I am pretty sure that’s why you want to go kappa. Ya right.
No disrespect to kappa. I am an education major but seriously good luck to you and all the other girls that want to go kappa for their philanthropy and history without connections. It will happen for a few no doubt ( especially this year) but don’t get your hopes up.

don’t mean to be closed minded at all! i just want to have a really good chance at all of the houses! i’m also very interested in pi phi, do you need connections to get in there?

I don't have an answer for that since I am not a pi phi. If you don't get into the sorority you want to get in, you should be overall fine and be in the sorority you meant to be in.

I've never seen or heard anyone non-legacy or w/out prior connections get a Kappa bid. Doesn't mean it can't happen, I've just never heard of it. Pretty much goes for everyone no matter how wealthy or attractive they are. Lotta politicking in that chapter here.

sorry i just love kappas that i know that go to UT, TTU, and TAMU, and i know that not every chapter is the same and I am more open minded than this post came across, but I just want a good chance.
