Do I stand a chance?
by: PnmHi, I’m rushing this fall and I’m from out of state. I have like 2 connections but they’re not strong. I’ve reached out to a couple actives and talked to them. I’m a legacy for Zeta and Alpha Chi O. I have a good gpa, a pretty low SAT score though. I would say I’m a little above average for looks and have good personality. Should I just plan on not getting a bid from Tri delt, Kappa, Pi phi, Chi o, and Zeta? From what I read, it seems like I don’t stand a chance.

Please go in with an open mind and don’t worry about if you’re going to be cut from the houses you mentioned. I’m not saying it’ll happen, but don’t set yourself up for disappointment. Every house here is amazing, seriously. Every house has something to offer. Trust your heart not your head. Good luck! ❤️

Being pro active plus legacy status tells me of course you stand a chance. All sororities give their legacies a second look. It is becoming less and less important with soo many going through but it will put you at the top part of the pile for a second look first round. Reaching out to actives gives you another shot to put yourself on girls radar. Do your research of all the houses, keep and open mind and be your own best PR person! Good luck to you and I have a good feeling you will end up happy at the end 🙂
