Why is Chi O hated on
by: PnmI’m confused on why everyone on here is hating on Chi O. I definitely thought they were a top. Is it just jealousy?
#1 by: here’s why
Every girl has at least one story of a rude interaction with a chi o. They are entitled, snobby, and are the opposite of laid back, and the majority of them are like that in my experience. You won’t see that during rush. I remember watching a group of seniors thinking they acted like mean high schoolers. Do you see people talking like this about other top houses?

There are plenty of post on this subject if you go looking for them. I thought exactly like you last year. It’s just jealousy. 100 percent that is not it. When you are here you will understand. Most of their girls are picked by alums. They have made extremely questionable choices which can’t be talked about on here for legal reasons. They are average girls that have a superiority complex and a rude entitled attitude that I promise you won’t match up with you will meet. Do they have some pretty, nice girls? Ofcourse they do. Just like all the other houses. However I personally would not want to be in a house full of cliquey, rude people that no one on campus likes. I do not believe anyone looks at a girl in a chi o shirt and thinks they wish they were in that sorority once recruitment is over.

I am in a mid tier sorority and have friends that are in the other top houses but no chi o friends. In fact only chi o’s are friends with chi o’s and even being a chi o I have heard it’s hard to make friends because it is full of cliques. Most other sorority girls will tell you they have no chi o friends. That being said I am sure there are some sweet ones and feel bad that they get a bad rep with the rest.

Good point! Girls don’t talk that way about kappa, zeta or pi phi. It’s literally just chi o and sometimes phi mu. That should tell you all you need to know.
