How the top houses rush

Here’s how the top houses go about recruitment. After that, the other houses don’t really have as set of a rush process imo.
Kappa-connections 100%. Bid list set before rush w Miss Arkansas types, sisters, cousins, best friends.
Pi phi-pretty connections based as well, mainly only take girls they at least have a distant connection to. Smart, involved, sweet. Focus most on resume.
Zeta- less connections. They rush mainly the specific personality type they like—happy, involved partiers who also love Jesus.
Chi o-alumni controlled. Bid list set with arrogant LR legacies.

I think chi o is getting more control of the girls they take. Super curious what will happen this year after all their drama.

Adpi- a lot less competitive, but also rush based on personality, they have very chill, laid back girls with great personalities that are well liked
Tridelt-harder to do. They seem the most diverse in type of girls and rush individually rather than as a chapter. However all the girls I know in tridelt love it.
Phimu: no idea tbh. It seems like they are trying to be a top house and will take girls that are very attractive or bubbly but idk anything about their values

Try to get recommendations for ALL chapters.
Grades are always a factor. If your gpa is close, exceptions can be made. (Not 100% on that, though)
Be genuine- and have a good back and forth conversation— try not to use 1 word answers. Smile and be yourself. Don’t burn a bridge with a chapter you aren’t feeling at the moment— things change and you meet other members you may vibe with. (And by burn a bridge— I mean be really rude to the girls talking with you)
