Getting Into a Sorority
by: pnmHi, I’m just wondering what houses I’ll have the best chances with if I’m from far out of state with no connections, excellent grades and involvement, and average looks. I’m really interested in adpi, phi mu, and tri delta because of their philanthropies. Do I have any chance with those?

Who knows? It also depends on what "average looks mean" Arkansas vs. Texas. Big metroplex vs. small town TX. With all this, no matter what you sound like a great girl and you should get a bid. All of the houses are great and even the bottom house's have girls that out shine the top house's in Texas. That is a huge compliment to our house's at UARK. Bottom 4 at Uark cold be top 3 at any Texas or Oklahoma school!!!!!!

Hi! I am sure you have a good chance with the sororities your looking at. Be confident and go for what you want! If interested in certain houses then find girls to follow, dm them with questions ect.... you have the opportunity to be your best promoter! It’s a different year girls. Rules have been thrown out the window. Use it to your advantage! Good luck to you!😋

Oo girl don’t look at it like this! It’s all about where you vibe, you’re looking for girls you could really be friends with & feel comfortable around. All kinds of girls from everywhere go all different houses so just go in, try to make the most of the kinda strange rush circumstances & go where you feel at home! Having interest in philanthropies is great though!

Hey girl!! As a member that is VERY involved in my sororities recruitment process, I want to tell you not to worry! If you are passionate about a house or a philanthropy, TELL THEM!!!! Be vocal about how you are feeling! Your GPA will make you more appealing to every house. Physical looks don’t matter, personality matters. As a top tier house, we look for girls that will maintain our standards and represent our letters well! Just be yourself and remember, you don’t want people who don’t want you!
Wishing you luck during recruitment, excited to meet you!:))

I’d say you’d be fine for adpi but probably not phi mu or tri delt
