Likelihood of getting into sorority’s

I’m just gonna give you an honest explanation of what to expect with first few rounds of cuts
Kappa and Chi O: if you don’t have a connection/legacy in these houses you have about a .2 chance of getting in...they like to act like you have a chance but you don’t so don’t be offended when you have a great convo and then get cut first round
Phi phi/Zta: very similar but maybe a littlleee less picky. Maybe a .25 chance to get in without connections but their cuts are very harsh too
Pretty much every other house will cut first rounds based off of GPA/social media etc but from there on out they decide based off of genuine conversations
I’m not trying to scare anyone but I remember being so upset when I got cut from the four top houses first round when I thought I had such amazing conversations, the reality is you may have had a great convo but your cut before you even step foot in the house. But I ended up in a house where I have met my best friends and I wouldn’t want it any other way!

Please rush no matter your GPA!!!! Yes there’s a cut off but not all houses will cut you, if you are really looking for your people (not just a certain house), you will find your place! Houses will get to know you more than just what you look like on paper! Be open minded and yourself and don’t listen to what others say about the chapters here! Everyone’s experience with a house is different and ranks really don’t matter, the Panhellenic community is awesome and supports each other :)

If it would be in the chapters’ interests to be a bit more relaxed on the Gpa cut this year?
Strange times and possibly fewer pnms?

Chi o is hoping to cut heavy first round so all pnm’s will their exclusive and keep them. Adpi , KD, and phi mu would be my choice over them even if those don’t cut as harsh first round. The system of making these top houses ( especially this one ) cut heavy first night sux and isn’t fair to the other houses.

No.....the system of having the houses with the top retention rates cut most makes sense. These houses cut girls they know 100% will be cut anyway before the end of the week. This gives girls chances to get to know other houses. Say a pnm makes her cuts and is left with all the choices she wants. Get to round three and she’s cut by all with no chance for another house. The system works, EVERY house here is great. There’s a reason Arkansas Panhellenic gets awards every year.

Ya but they are basing it on previous years retention rates. I can’t imagine chi o not falling this year unless pnm’s ate living under a rock.
