Rush Advice Please
by: PNMI’m a in state transfer student with a 3.3 college gpa, some pretty good rec letters from recent graduates of U of A, a few loose connections to houses, I was extremely involved on my campus, I have no Greek life in my family so I have no opinions or persuasions to one house. What are my honest bid chances? Do sororities look at college gpas different from high school because let’s be honest a 4.0 in college is not even in the same ballpark as a 4.0 in high school. I’m not a drop out risk because I’ve already got one degree and clearly can handle college curriculum. Opinions.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like if you already have a degree you may be a bit older. Sororities tens to want freshman so they have ppl in there the whole 4 years. Your GPA is a bit low and while I agree that college GPA is different from high school, unless every girls sees your resume, they may not realize that and will assume it’s high school. This is not to discourage you just to point out some challenges. I think it is well worth it to rush and see if you like it, maybe if you aren’t offered a bid you can do COB! Definitely give it a shot and good luck!!
