Is 1000+ registrations a lot?

I saw the post about reaching over 1000 PNM registrations and was wondering if that you was more or less or about the same as in past years?

2018: 1717
2019: 1490

1,000 is much smaller than usual but there’s still a lot of time for PNMs to register so the number will probably go up! I would expect a smaller recruitment this year, though. 2018 was the largest group of PNMs to ever go through rush.

I imagine overall attendance will be down across all colleges. We don’t know for sure that we can attend classes in person in January ( I highly doubt we can) so why pay triple the cost? I am a junior and have taken all my basics or I would most likely stay home in the fall. The classes in junior college are easier and way cheaper.

It’s about 900 to 1000 less than what we normally have.
