do texans get bids?
by: y’allI’m coming from austin and I have a good gpa, kappa legacy, average looks, but not a lot of connections since i’m out of state. do I have a chance to get into any “top” house?

definitely! it all depends on how much effort you put in to making those connections with girls in house, there are girls that are triple legacies in some houses and will get cut because they have 0 personality or they just assume they're going to get it because they are legacies which is definitely not true. for example I know girls that were double chi o legacies and didn't get chi o and were pretty upset about it but ended up in another house and they're happy! theres plenty of people that come from Austin and other places and up in great houses! regardless of if you were a kappa legacy or not I personally would advise to not have your mind set on one house whether thats kappa or somewhere else because you never know what's going to happen or if you like a house that you didn't think you would like but you definitely have a chance!

Hey girl! It is so possible :) I’m not going to say what sorority I’m in but I knew almost nobody going through recruitment and wasn’t a legacy and still ended up at the house of my choice!!! get to know these girls while you have the chance and make connections. I’m sure you are going to have an incredible rush!
