Pnms perspective
by: ActiveI’m really curious...if your a pnm, what are your opinions on the different sorority’s are the moment. Just based off of what you’ve read, their social media, etc. I hope y’all push some of these opinions aside when you go into rush and actually decide based off of the connections you make:)

Hi!! Those are just the girls they happen to already know!! (sisters, cousins, high school friends) Chi O is so so excited to meet NEW GIRLS and they can’t tag you if they don’t know you yet. Chi O can’t wait to meet all PNMS and please DM them, ask them questions about chi o or recruitment. Don’t feel defeated if you weren’t tagged in a post because you don’t know anyone, that’s not a disadvantage to you at all just a fun way to get PNMs and Members active on social media :) <3

No!! Only places like chi o have decided who they want for next year, the rest is a wash!! Rush if youd like! all i can say is that the process works and although i had zero connections, i still got into a decent house i love! Dont believe these trolls

Wait what? Your going to drop because chi o tagged some girls in a post? Soo frustrating for the rest of the houses to hear that pnms may drop because chi o tagged girls in a post. First of all, chi o does have girls on the list that are alum’s friends daughters ect... and girls that are their hometown friends but that is every sorority. Every year ( not just this one) the top houses have a cut list for first round before recruitment begins because of course at midnight on day one they can’t begin the process of cutting over 500 pnm’s. I guess you shouldn’t rush if only being In a top house will good enough for you. What a waste to not even try though.....

GOOD THINGS WE'VE HEARD:
XO: very smart, strong supportive sisterhood. Seem to do a ton of fun things not just for philo or parties. Great philo and are passionate about it. Diverse. Best CFF/food. Very Involved.
AXO: Most involved. Also another house known for being passionate about their Philo. Winning events. On the up and up (slowly but surely). Lovely girls. Strongest sisterhood. Well liked as an org.
DDD: amazing org/house/events. Improved the most. Seem most balanced at having a good greek and school life. Popular among pnms. Diverse in personality and people. Involved.
PBP:super smart. Beautiful mems. Trendy. Well liked national org - best national reputation. Have strong sisterhood and sweetest girls on campus rep.
ADII:very laid back/fun and adventurous and well liked by everyone. Personalities are so great and girls are so pretty they managed to win pnms without a house.
KKG: considered the top house and most wanted by PNMs. Have a beautiful house and one of the best orgs. Amazing alum. Popular with frats also. Low key in the good way. Trendy and pretty.
ZTA:super popular with pnms and other sororities. Most amazing bid days. Super Trendy/Pretty Party Girls with Brains. Nice house. Involved. Most girls hope to end up here. Seem enthusiastic and solid in all ways.
KD: most beautiful house and equally beautiful girls. Trendy. Smart and have empowerment/supportive vibe. Involved. Great org. Diverse. Their leadership and mentoring is good.
PM: Popular with frats. Fun and laid back. Said to have overall sweet girls. Very involved. One of the most incredible houses on the row. Amazing bid days and improving fast.
AOII: Good CFF. Good sisterhood. One of the most supportive of other greeks both offline and on. Have strong diversity in terms of personality and appearance. Are said to be one of the most welcoming to their new mems.
DG:Diverse. Friendliest girls. Beautiful house. Involved. Genuine enough you can just be yourself rather than shaped to fit their mould like higher up sororities.
AGD: Great org. Fun colours and symbols. Nothing else to say tbh.
LIKE I SAID, WE HEAR VARIOUS CONFLICTING THINGS. WE'D RATHER JUST MEET YALL AND MAKE UP OUR OWN MINDS THEN.

Yeah, I don’t know anyone at uark so it made me a little nervous seeing “tag a PNM you are excited for” on posts and stories. however I liked Chi O’s insta live and I think it would be awesome if some other houses did something similar too!
