I love seeing the responses! Remember even if you end up with a bid from a house you didn’t want don’t quit! Give it a chance!! TRUST THE PROCESS IT WORKS! I ended up getting a bid to the house I didn’t love but it ended up being
Perfect. And the ones I wanted looking back I wouldn’t have been happy there.

The process doesn't work. It worked for you maybe, but not for the people who were pushed into groups they never wanted.

You weren’t pushed into a house!
You were cut. Plain and simple. The houses that kept you had NOTHING to do with who cut you. The houses who kept you wanted you. There were girls totally released from recruitment. If you are in a house, bitter, about where you are— you missed the point. Turn that frown upside down and connect. There are great girls in ALL of these houses. Don’t let this stupid site get to you.

There are literally “top house” quality girls in every single house. There are way too many quality girls that go through recruitment every year and everyone benefits. Yes, each house wants/needs to be filled, which works out well for the number of girls who do receive a bid each year. But apparently you’re looking down your nose on some houses when there is absolutely no reason. Again, EVERY house has “top house” quality girls. If you can’t/couldn’t find girls you clicked with then sadly that is on you for not giving it a chance.

Hi! I will be a junior in the fall and im here to say the process works if you work hard enough! I walked into arkansas with 1 connection in one house that i wasnt even interested in. I was a gpa risk and followed none of the girls on instagram. I was basically screwed IF i didnt keep a positive attitude. All 5 “top sororities” cut after 1st round if you have below a 3.4. I worked hard at each round with each house i saw and although i was a grade risk with zero connection or friends in the house, i got called back by kappa, zeta, and tri delt. I ended up becoming one of the 3 and i adore where i was placed (all of the girls are similar to me). And no, im not some pretty blonde that got in off of looks, i got in because i tried very hard to make a connection with the people i talked to, and acted like my genuine self. If you are worried about not getting the house you want, contact people! Make friends so you are not an entirely fresh face, so someone is already rooting for you inside. I hope everyone looks at the bright side during this and stays positive. You will love wherever you end up! I will always be rooting for the new girl grade risk in my sorority to give another girl a chance like they did for me

I don’t have any connections going in and apparently that’s not good lol but I’m really excited for Alpha Chi Omega and Alpha Omicron Pi. Both seem like a good fit for me! I was interested in Delta Delta Delta but I know it’s not going to happen for me without connections.
