Can extra RIFs count as letters of support

Does anyone know if I can just ask alums to write RIFS instead of writing letters of support? I’m worried that an alum would drop the ball and I will end up without a RIF and only letters of support.

Ask for exactly what you need. Then ask kindly if they can let you know once they receive notice the sorority has received it. My
Mom writes them all the time for girls and she receives a letter from her sorority thanking her for taking her time ect...

Again you don’t need to overkill this part of the process. It’s a box that gets checked is all.

Ask them very specifically what you want them to do and provide address and everything they would need so they don’t have to do much work. Then a few weeks later send a personal thank you note, which can help to remind them if they haven’t finished yet
