by: curiousI’ve seen a lot of positivity surrounding Greek life and the quality of houses at uark! However I’ve also seen a lot that say if you don’t have connections you have no chances in specific houses. Obviously I’ll have to wait and see what houses I click with during rush but since I’m coming from outside will I have a chance at all in a “top house” even if I have great convos?? Just curious!

My best advice to you: stay off of this website. Go in with a completely open mind, give each house a chance and go where you feel most comfortable. Every single house is great and every single house has “top house” quality girls. Have fun and good luck! We can’t wait to meet you!!

Everyone has a chance. It’s just much smaller with zero connections in the top houses. My advice would be to follow some sophomores ( girls with 23 in bio) so they can be familiar with you! Sophomores will fight harder for girls they are interested in because they are looking for littles. Good luck!

Do you even want to be in a sorority? If all you are worried about is being in a top house then you are doing it for the wrong reason. All house at uark are amazing. You make the house you are in what you want it to be. Grr are I bottom houses, just houses that haven’t been there as long.

Chi o alums have a huge huge say in who makes chi o at uark and kappa knows who they want before rush starts and for the post part that is who they see on bid day so that doesn’t surprise me. Keep an open mind and there will be good houses to choose from!
