Rec letters from Uark grad

How helpful is having a rec letter from someone who graduated from Arkansas? Especially if they graduated a while back ? Does it look better/ help more than someone who graduated from a different school?

It would depend- does your out of state alum have closer connections vs. your uark alum? If not, go w your uark alum. 2 Recs would not hurt. Best wishes.
