pnm cuts - how does that work?
by: pnmI know the houses will cut pnms after each round and that pnms also cut houses. But how exactly does it work after that? I have no connections at all and so I already know the top houses will cut me immediately. Should I just cut them first round too?

Assuming that recruitment goes "normally" in fall 2020, your 1st round will consist of 11 short introduction parties, one party at each house.
You will also have an off day 1st round where you hang out with your Gamma Chi (rush counselor) and tour the campus. If AGD decides to still come in the fall & form a new chapter at UofA, maybe you will see a presentation from them on this day?
Then you will rank the 11 houses with your 8 equal favorites and choose who falls into the 9/10/11 spots of your faves.
The sororities also turn in their list of who is invited back to their house. Every sorority has a different criteria & different number to ask back. You have no control over this so dont even give it a second thought.
You can get a max invite to 8 houses for 2nd round. If all 8 of your faves invite you back, your 3 least faves fall off your invite list. If any of your faves release you, in order one of those in your 9/10/11 list will show up again on your invite list.
This happens again each round as everyone narrows in on the right fit for each girl. Don't overthink it, go with the flow & you will find "your people".

There is no reason for a PNM to act so rudely to any house that is on her schedule. Houses that may show up on your schedule are interested in getting to know you and have NOTHING to do with whatever houses that may have cut you. Go get your mom to make phone calls and throw a fit elsewhere. Don’t be a brat to the house hosting you at a party.
