by: This spa isn’t so cleanI have heard many times that XO’s new recruitment chair is evil and cut girls on her own this past fall after whining to recruitment because the PNM’s “talked to her ex bf”. I thought that was against the rules? It’s petty and unfair

while this sounds completely untrue and very targeted, all houses have actually done this at some point or another. 1500+ girls come in through recruitment and u only take about 100 on bid day, so u have to lower the numbers somehow. i remember a girl getting released because we heard she was mean in high school. it just happens.

It’s true! She had a problem with this girl, which is awful because the girl was one of her only friends senior year of HS. She went to exec on her own and kept it hush hush. The girl that was rushing her was expecting to see her at the next round but the cut was made behind the scenes. Really sweet girl got cut after we voted to keep her. She is loving her sorority and still got a bid from a top house! Glad it worked out for her.
