so confused about the hate for xo
by: ConfusedXO is a great sorority here. People are hating because of one girl and a tragic mistake. I would imagine she is heartbroken and always will be. Her friends in XO stood up for her and knew how amazing she was. This sounds like great sisterhood to me. I’d rather be in a pc with her than girls who sleep with everyone’s bfs and stab each other in the back.

From what I heard she wasn't "heartbroken" at all and would even post rants online about how peed off she was that she was stuck doing community service instead of out partying etc.
I don't think anyone had any issues with the fact that she made a poor life decision - accidents happen, it was because of the way she behaved after. Rather than reflecting on her actions and showing remorse, she acted bratty inhumane and that speaks volumes about the kind of chapter XO are if they are desperate to bid her.
Whilst yes, it shows XO as a chapter were compassionate enough to look past her flaws, but given that this girl would then become a representation of her chapter as all new members do, it also shows that XO must love a bratty girls with horrible entitled personalities.
XO already had a very bad rep for being cliquey, bratty and rude to others - which given they are a huge legacy house didn't help either, so bidding the criminal really was the straw that broke the camels back.
As the saying goes "birds of a feather flock together"

It goes way beyond one girl. The superiority complex of most of the girls is ridiculous. But most recently they deleted comments from POC on their Instagram post. When posed with challenges, instead of responding respectfully they deleted comments. Even alumni was ashamed and upset with their actions. Definitely not an accepting house!

It’s not hate because of one girl. When I came up on a college visit I went to a frat party. I met girls from all different sororities. I was told “ you’ll do great. Pledge whoever you want just don’t go chi o because you will regret it”. I thought they were all just jealous or something because I knew how they were ranked. I actually liked them during recruitment but Loved another house. After a couple of months here at uark I knew what everyone was talking about. I met one ( seriously just one) nice chi o. They just aren’t well liked on campus. They have some kind of superiority complex or something. And when you meet them your thinking uhhh why? Especially because we all know MOST chi o’s were chosen because they are girls that are daughters of alums or alums friends daughters. Idk. You will see when your here next year what everyone means. It’s not jealousy. If so people would be saying that about kappa and they don’t.
