sorority/ rush week
by: livI’ve been pretty involved in my high school as well as my community but my gpa is a 3.2. does that mean i’m automatically cut from rushing? i know they do take some grade risks but how likely am i to have a bid with a low gpa?

i’m a legacy on both sides of my family for pi phi and all the girls know my cousin that was in it bc she just graduated, the president is from my home town and our families are friends, and i currently have friends in there.... does that help any? also do u think axo would take me? i really like that one too!

You may have a shot at pi phi if someone either knows you and is pulling for you during work week OR you really blow someone away night one and they pull for you. You will get an automatic invite night one for pi phi so that gives you another opportunity to connect with someone. They have been number one in grades the last two semesters so please don’t get your hopes too high. AXO has a great group of girls and yes you will have a good shot with them :)

Top five in grades are consistently pi phi, Chio, KD, Tridelta and either kappa or zeta- they cut the hardest for grades upfront but you can still have a great rush- make sure you get your recomdation letters and that you spotlight your activities- show all of your strengths- you will be find- see if you know anyone in the houses you are interested in- l wish you all the best!

If your a legacy you may have a shot with chi o, zeta and Tri delt. I don’t think you will with pi phi and kappa even with legacy status. Top five have an automatic cut the first night below a 3.4
