2020 recruitment
by: PanhellenicLadies what do we think recruitment 2020 will hold. Do y’all think there will be more girls overall than last year? And will we be expecting less girls in each mc due to alpha gam coming

Hi Mom! (Because literally no one else cares at this point)
Kappa will become the undisputed top house every pnm wants.
Over involved alums will finally have brought ChiO down to the point only legacies will care about a bid from there. Look at every other ChiO chapter that alums have ruined by controlling their recruitment. Being founded here won’t matter to pnms who want a voice in their chapter.
All the remaining chapters will become more even in the ranks as PNMs look for where they feel they fit in the most no matter the “ranks”.
Alpha Gam will do fine. They have the land for a house and the interest from pnms.
Times are changing and it’s more cool now for women to be supportive of each other and build each other up than your generation. Women in Greek life no longer feel the need to equate house rank with self worth. All houses have something to offer and are filled with amazing and accomplished women.

Kappa- top house
PiPhi/Zeta/ChiO - all equal depending on pnm pref
Tridelt- slow steady rise to the top again - will be in 2021
KD/ADPi- recruit same type girls except KD more studious and ADPi more social
AXO/PhiMu- good houses focusing on different girls - PhiMu more looks and rep risks and AXO more grades/involvement
DG/AOPi - good houses again different girls- DG- involved but unconnected, AOPi- looks but grade or rep risks

I pledged this year and kappa was not ranked in my top two the night before pref. So not EVERY pnm will want them but they are a great house and we get almost all of the girls they want. I think this past year and rankings were not the end all be all. Some girls like myself went with where they felt the most happy even if they still had a higher ranked house on pref night. I predict this will be the trend for 2020 as well!
