legacy question...
by: LegaciesDid most of the houses get their legacies? I'm a legacy and will be attending Arkansas next year. I at some schools in the SEC--it can be just as touch being a legacy getting in as not being one. What's the probability of getting the house you're a legacy of?

It used to be if you were a legacy you were almost guaranteed to get a bid and if not there better be a good reason. However, each year there are more legacies. There were hundreds of legacies just this year at Arkansas. If the sororities took all their legacies they would be over quota with just legacies and still have to cut some. But some of the sororities cut legacies to other houses anyway. So it's probably better to keep your legacy status private. It hurts more than it helps.
