freshman only: rush talk
by: Fun ConvoI am a sophomore so I’m just curious, what was the rush talk when y’all went through recruitment? Who was saying what about what house? Unbiased to the house you have now!

!unbiased completely! just convos I overheard during rush
-a lot of girls were pleasantly surprised by tri delt
-a lot of girls thought they would like zeta but didn't
-a lot of girls cut chi o surprisingly
-most people I talked to liked pi phi but got cut
-a lot of sweet girls went pi mu because they got cut from other houses
-most girls didn't like dg but they had a better pc this year !
thats all! this is what occupied most of the conversations
Not necessarily my opinions! I liked all the houses and had a hard time deciding!

Chi O was cut by a few not “ a lot” , majority of girls I talked to were cut by them
Not much buzz about pi phi, kd, or alpha chi.
Aopi and dg were dropped by most when they could
Zeta was talked about a lot in my group and it was ALL positive
Tri Delt was thought of as fun with an awesome house 🙂
Agree with previous poster that both phi mu and adpi were liked way more than pnms thought they would going into recruitment.
Great job to adpi for pulling this off without a house!

Tent talk
- there really aren't any bad houses at UA - there was no one house no one didn't really like - it was just what house was a better fit
- PNM's where still surprised at how many houses cut you after the 3rd round
- I really loved KD, Zeta and Kappa - all for different reasons but I really love all of these houses
- loved Zeta's jackets and loved the girls who rushed me at KD and Kappa - both have an amazing house and really involved on campus
Everyone did really well but these where my favorites

Personally I loved KD - so sweet and really enjoyed the girls I met - I also loved Pi Phi and ChiO - I know there is alot of Hate on here but I thought they where great!

Everyone in my group and my friends did not have positive experiences at KD, and tried to drop them if they could

Everyone I talked to were soooo pleasantly surprised by ADPi and Tri Delt. I’m not sure what drama people talk about when referring to Tri Delt but they all seemed very sweet and welcoming. Props to ADPI, I loved them and would rank them in my tops every round, genuine and gorgeous girls.

Were you in the same recruitment as me?? Chi o did get some cuts this year which probably surprised them. I only heard great things about zeta? And knew girls super upset when cut by them ( I am assuming you were one of them) Pi phi did cut heavy like all the tops but also didn’t hear too many girls that upset about it. Surprising hits were phi mu and adpi. Phi mu and adpi have a pledge class full of girls that wanted zeta and Tri delt and because of numbers didn’t end up there. Still both have very good pledge classes this year! I heard some describe kappa as boring but no one I knew cut them. Becca moss was a hit at a chi o! Most preferred Aopi over dg. DG has a great house! Love the anchor! They just need to work on their conversation skills . Most pnms I talked to had to carry the conversation with them.
