on news why not on razalert

If an alleged crime takes place on campus and is on the news why isn’t on RazAlert?

RazAlert is typically only used for immediate emergencies. If you’re talking about Kappa Sig, everything would’ve been reported after the event took place so no need to notify students immediately as it doesn’t affect their safety right now
