"bottom tier" houses cutting girls
by: honestI think this will be the year that you can't pin point which sorority is the catch all group. PNM's are getting dropped, some no houses left. So, to those PNM's that get back a house or more know that those houses want you and they are being selective.

Some of these houses may do cob at least in the spring. Seeing a few Ig Picts, there are a few houses with a large number of graduating girls. Having no idea how cob works- but maybe there will an opportunity.
To pnm: so sorry for this. Really. There are many groups on campus.
Please do not take it personally as you did nothing wrong. Knowing it is hard right now, but there may be cob opportunities. Please take care of yourself. Your friends too. There is a full social calendar for all Razorback community. Letters do not determine your worth.

When you go onto greek rank and say I got cut by the bottom houses you have been way tooo vested in what the tiers are.

UARK has GREAT houses! When a PNM goes on greek rank and has a preconceived notion and then they go to the first round of parties your attuide shows and if you don't want to be there the girls will know with 1400 girls going through rush all the houses can be picky not just the top.
This is UARK and the top have been on campus the longest and the newer houses have just as much to offer like WONDERFUL, SMART and GORGEOUS girls. You will realize what you read on here is not reality.
It is way better to be in a NEW HOUSE then not at all.

Excuse her wording- poor choice of words. I heard and read it as- I was being open minded looking for my home away from home and being open minded NOT paying attention to tier talk. Must you be sharp to a girl who has just gone thru this process?! Do you not remember gong thru the process yourself? Wanting a sisterhood? Seeing tiers and being open to your opportunities? Must you speak to her like that and punish her for what OTHER houses say about your house?!
Unreal. Just unreal. Grow up. Sounded like she was an independent thinker- THOSE are the pnms you want, sweetie!

I think there needs to be a reality check....If a PNM is dropping because of houses its because they don't feel like its a fit to be in that house. Don't tell PNM that they are lucky to get a house...Who wants to be in a house that they don't feel comfortable in? PNM could care less about ranks its about where they feel the best fit. Not going to go somewhere if it feels fake or awkward thank you very much

You must not be in a sorority. Out of 400 girls you can't find a place to fit in. Your pledge class alone is 100+. This is one reason every one says stick with it and trust the process. Not buying it. Snowflake has never been let down and think she belongs in the tippitytop house and nothing else is good enough for her.

Truth be told my top pick is still in my rotation and according to the stupid ranks on here it is not a top tier. Im not pretending to love something that I don't and wont waste my time and energy on a house I don't love. Im here to be happy not just say I have letters. Im not lucky to be put into a house they will be lucky to have me...that's called self worth. Best of luck to everyone rushing!

This is another stupid topic on greekrank. I’m not sure where the definitions are for a lower raking house. Also I’m not sure why it matters. Rankings are some made up system that make insecure girls feel better about themselves. All the sorority houses at Arkansas are awesome. All of them!

The only reason Greek Life would do that is if they were going forward with Alpha Gamma Delta colonizing which they have been putting off for 4-5 semesters now. Maybe they are finally going to have a new group come spring?

AOII has stepped up their game. Don’t be to sure that they’re on the bottom. Heard several girls say their recruitment parties are awesome. Just because they have struggled in the past doesn’t mean they can’t change. Maybe PNMs are tired of y’all opinions and see things with an open mind.

I got cut from almost every bottom house along with most of my friends. it’s really sad.
