is this true?

by: wow

Someone on here wrote that in lower houses, the pretty social girls set themselves apart from the rest of the girls. Is this true?

I’m worried because throughout high school I was always the weird girl who didn’t have a lot of friends. But I’m really desperate to change that and in college I want to be really social and party, but I’m worried I won’t be able to do that if I’m not accepted by the group that does that. I don’t want that to sound mean or anything, I’m just really worried. I want college to be great for me!

College and sorority life is the best time for a restart in your life. This isn't high school and people aren't pigeon-holed or shunned in their houses. If you want to have a social life you can do that and you don't have to be super pretty to have a good time. But in every house there are girls with different priorities, like their academics come first, or their social lives are more important, or involvement in a particular activity/organization on campus, or their fashion and makeup and how they look...whatever. You can see that different types would naturally tend to hang together, even with other like-minded girls in other sororities, right? But no one is just one type; everyone has to study some, everyone wants to party some, everyone is mix.

Short answer: not true. It might just seem that way because maybe you’re not in a certain “group” but if you put in effort you will make friends in your house.

There is so many girls in each house, you’ll find some girls or sisters to click with. I was shy and maybe a little odd but I love my sisterhood. My sisters even introduced me to my boyfriend.
