why does everyone rank aoii so low at this school?
by: spïllGenuinely curious to know why AOII is consistently ranked so low on UARK’s Greek Rank? From what I’ve seen they seem cool. So like... is it that people are ranking AOII so low because that’s just how GR is and people are tearing each other down instead of building each other up? Or is it that all the sororitys at this school are so good that the ranks are actually irrelevant? Or what are the reasons?

They just are so inactive no one knows where to place them but in many ways they are bottom. They are ranked lower than many houses GPA wise, aren’t super passionate about their philanthropy(which is arthritis awareness) and their house is just kind of plain. I’m sure they have a great sisterhood and everything but I wouldn’t have no idea about that because you never hear about it.

They are bottom because unfortunately someone’s gotta be. DG is ranked low cause they’re new but that’s about to change. PhiMu gets ranked low because of their bad rep. AOPi just doesn’t do anything to stand out. They aren’t very visible and other than some low level fraternity parties you just don’t ever see them.

They have a close sisterhood and have cute, pretty girls and don’t require the drama other houses seem to thrive on. Not a thing wrong w them. Laid back? Maybe- but in a good way. Not an AOPi. Tired of everyone scaring pnms.
I’m telling you- there are strong sisterhoods in houses #6 and beyond. (From the typical rankings here- #6 and beyond.)
These were my favorite houses. You will see. There are pnms who loved these houses more than the houses which have been on UArk campus longer.

There’s nothing wrong with AOPI. Very friendly and sweet girls. The top tier houses like chi o and kappa really aren’t worried about their standing but it’s the middle tier houses that put them down because they don’t want their standing on this site to slip. Phi mu and DG are so worried about being on the bottom, they make you think that their a top house on this site. I think AOPI hasn’t been on campus as long as some of the other houses (except for phi mu and dg which recolonize and have strong alumnae) so a lot of their alumni aren’t rich and can’t donate to the chapter like others. AOPi is very strong nationally. I’m not an AOPI but I am in a sorority and hate all the negativity.

I definitely agree. I feel like aoii deserves a better rep though. Like I said they always seemed really good to me. Pretty girls, pretty house, kind hearts, strong sisterhood
