meals at the house

I was looking at the lookbook and saw that the dues for new members are about the same as dues for out of house girls, but that meals are included for out of house girls and not for new members. So I’m just wondering if new members are allowed to eat every meal at the house or just the ones that were mentioned. Thanks!

For my chapter everyone is allowed to eat lunch every day and dinner on Monday nights before chapter. I believe that’s the norm for all chapters. Of course in house girls get breakfast lunch and dinner everyday with a few exceptions on the weekends.

i didn’t know you could eat at the houses as a freshman! I think that is so cool and a great way to get to know all the members🙂

yes and if you can’t make it every day be sure to make it to Chicken Finger Friday (or Fiesta Friday for KD)! It’s a great place to meet members!

At my chapter you can eat every meal at the house as a freshman with no additional charge. We encourage our new members to do and reduce their University meal plan the first chapter meeting. We want you at the house.

This is good but remember that as a freshman you’re still required to have a meal plan and at a certain point in the semester you can’t go to a cheaper uni meal plan
