It's mean that it's helps you to be good at holding a conversation with anyone, especially people you don't have much in common with. My best tip for this is if you don't seem to have a lot with the person ask them questions about themselves/their chapter because everyone loves to talk about themselves

Conversational skills are VERY important. While resumes and recs and connections put pnm's on the radar, meeting you in person during rounds is where the rubber meets the road. The best conversationalists are confident without being overbearing, positive and upbeat without being fake, show a sense of humor as well as a sense of propriety, and come off as being genuinely interested in the sorority and the actives they are talking to. If you weren't on the radar before, this is your chance to really hit it off with the girls you meet and make them fall in love with you as a pnm.
