things you say during recruitment

I’m wondering if it’s weird to say during the second round, “I’m really excited to be back, this was my favorite house” or if they’d be happy you said that?? How should you express your excitement? Sorry if this is a weird question lol I just don’t want to say something that would be weird enough to get me cut after the second round

Those are great things to say! Nothing in the original post sounded weird to me. Make it clear you’re excited to be there. As an active, we really appreciate hearing those things! Just don’t name drop any other houses.

This is so true. You don't want to sound desperate, and you don't want to bring any other house into it, but it's okay to let us know how you're thinking because we can't mind read.

Those are both fine!! It’s also good to say “I was so happy to see this house on my schedule this morning!” In the later two rounds I think it’s also good if you throw in why you are so exited like “I’m so happy to be back because I really connected with your philanthropy yesterday” or “I feel so at home here and I’ve loved talking to all the girls I was so happy to be invited back”
