getting into houses

if you don’t have any connections to any of the houses but you check a lot of the first boxes (gpa, recs, decent resume) then it’s really up to you during the week to stand out.

are you outgoing? are you pretty? can we tell if you have a good attitude? are you a legacy? do you have great conversation skills? do you present yourself well? do you have a good instagram?

my best advice is to go in and be confident and be as expressive and really prefect your conversation skills.

TELL the houses you don’t have any connections and that you’re from far out of state (if you want). say something to make you stand out like tell a memorable story and share something interesting about you.

get cute outfits and look presentable with hair and make up too and i’d say you have a pretty good chance at getting a decent house.
