tri delt / legacy ?

Hi:). New to this site. I understand the rankings at uark and am super interested in tri-delt for a lot of reasons. I am a legacy for one of the top two on campus. Will tri-delt look at that and cut me? I would love a chance to get past the first night and make some connections. I have rec letters, good grades , cute etc.. Would it seem disloyal ( to legacy sorority) to say I am really interested the first night at other houses? I am opened minded to ALL sororities but thought I would ask specifically about tri- delt. Obviously not all legacies get into the top two and the house may or may not even fit my personality ( won’t know till rush!) And I am scared how being a legacy will affect me with everyone else. I know prob zeta/ pi phi will cut me the first night for zero connections. Should I prepare myself for a tri-delt cut as well? Ugh this is all so stressful :(

you are over thinking it! everyone has a different experience. you may not get cut from any of the top 4 houses and some houses may surprise you and you may like other houses more than you think.

my best advice is to go in with an open mind and TELL the houses you have a very open mind. if you are a legacy to another house but we still really want you, we will keep you and try for you anyway UNLESS we can't tell if you are interested or not.

legacies don't mean much unless you have an in house sister or if you're like a 3 time arkansas legacy to that house. best of luck!

Agree with above. You have to express your interest in the houses you are interested in. The “top” 6 houses will cut around 1000 girls after the first round. Let them know you want to be there at the next party.

be careful what you post on here because with the info you’ve given it’ll be pretty easy to figure out who you are during rush and you don’t want them to cut you based on that. Good luck!
