So each sorority house is different. All of them can room about anywhere between 80-90 girls. Most likely you’ll be able to live in-house your sophomore year if you want to! Parking varies widely between the houses. Most of the houses just don’t have enough parking for all of the residents so most of the girls and they have to park in other places like the parking garages on campus or the green lots behind the football stadium. ChiO, Zeta, and ADPi do not have parking (if they do it’s very little) but they are so close to Garland Garage that it is not a problem. The sororities in the middle of Maple don’t have much parking at all. AOPi and DG have pretty sizable parking lots, and I’m pretty sure PiPhi and KD have little parking but are able to park in the church lot beside them but they have to move their cars on Wednesday’s and sundays. It just really depends, but all houses are amazing and living in one would be the absolute best time!

If you really want to you can! Most sororities have a points system—which is basically you get 1 point for going to a percentage night and 2 points for going to a Panhellenic-Wide event— for most sororities the 80 or so with the most points get the option to live in house and if a few decline they keep going down the ranks. Some sororities factor GPA into this and some don’t. So if you wanted to live in the house each year you absolutely can but you have to make sure you get a LOT of points each fall semester (fall semester points= house, spring semester points= parking). Just for warning though, going to multiple %nights a week gets expensive. So just be sure to smart about it! :)

Ok, now I’m just wondering, how do they keep track of your points? Is there like a special card you have to use or something?

My friend is a zeta and the have parking! It however is only 15-20 spots though but most park on the side or in garage anyways
