Do sororities consider the classes you took in high school apart from their GPA requirements? (I do have a high GPA) I took a lot of rigorous classes and I’m just wondering if this will have an impact on anything!

honestly we don't look that far into it as long as you have the gpa requirement.

there are over 1700 PNMs so no we don't really care but we look at GPA and we see your ACT score but ACT doesn't really matter much unless it's really high it's just a plus though

We have a GPA range because we need members who can fully participate in sorority activities/requirements while keeping their grades up, otherwise what's the point? We are not honor societies, we are social organizations/sisterhoods looking for quality members who can balance their studies and extracurriculars. If your resume shows that you have done that in high school then you're fine.

I am in what most would consider 1 of the 3 top houses and we look at a combination of gpa and act. If you have a super high gpa and terrible act that probably says something. But there’s exceptions for every circumstance.

Hi - what do you mean by high gpa and terrible act, what does that say about someone? Curious because my gpa is high but I am a terrible test taker...thanks

Please don't worry about something you can't do anything about at this point. Focus on what is in your power to affect: your conversations and manners, your personal polish and style, your recs, getting yourself prepared to be your very best in person during recruitment.
